About Jan Šebek
Jan Šebek is a successful Czech bartender with over 10 years of experience in gastronomy. His talent, diligence, and persistent work have propelled him to the top of the Czech bartending scene. He currently serves as the Bars & Beverages Manager at the newly opened W Prague Hotel on Wenceslas Square, where he oversees the Minus One, premium cocktail scene.
Previously, he worked in prestigious bars and hotels, including the Four Seasons, L'Fleur Bar, and Becher's Bar at the Grandhotel Pupp in Karlovy Vary. Jan has extensive experience in the prestigious Diageo Reserve World Class bartending competition, where he won the Czech round and placed among the top five in the world finals in 2023. He also triumphed in the global Johnnie Walker Challenge in São Paulo, Brazil. Recently he was granted the award "Bartender of the year" by prestigious bar community in the Czech Republic.
